Sweetie Pie (Mojo 155)

I have been wanting to use this cute little stamp for a while now, but for some reason I just could not come up with the right papers or colors to use with it. Then I discovered some Basic Grey Lemonade patterned paper at the bottom of my supplies and realized that it would coordinate perfectly with this image, especially the cherries!

The card design is based on Mojo Monday #155, which is a contest this week..... (here's hoping!!!!) The sketch looks like this :

Enjoy!

Stamps : g Studios Sweet Treats (cherry pie and sentiment)
Paper : PTI Black and White, Basic Grey Lemonade DP
Ink : VersaFine Onyx Black
Accessories : Cricut Lacy Labels cartridge, Prismacolor pencils, SU! Scallop border punch, ACMoore's Black and white polka dot ribbon

Razzleberry Cupcakes (TESC126)

These cute little cupcakes were created using a $1 stamp from 'g Studio' stamps at Michaels! I've said it before, but I'll say it again - I LOVE a bargain, especially when it comes to stamping supplies!

The die cut label behind the cupcakes was cut using my new Cricut Lacy Labels cartridge. It is such a versatile cartridge and cuts wonderful tight mats behind the main label. The patterned paper is from the Razzleberry patterns last year at Stampin'Up! I think Razzleberry is one of my favorite colors.

And finally the card was based on the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge from last Friday. Here's a look at the layout :

Thanks for dropping in!

Stamps : g Studios (cupcakes), Stampin'Up! (sentiment)
Paper : SU! Rich Razzleberry and Razzleberry DP, PTI White

Not quite Mojo Monday!

On Monday I saw the sketch for this week's Mojo Monday (#149) but then the sketch just sat on my desk for most of the week. By Thursday I was itching to try the sketch and also a new 'gStudio' dollar stamp that I picked up from Michaels last month. In the process of creating my card I included some Basic Grey Urban Prairie papers and PTI Smokey Shadow cardstock. I found just the right Copic Markers to match the papers - which is amazing seeing as I only have 20 markers..... : ( and I used Basic Grey brads to add some detail to the sentiment. I faked a scallop-style square using an EKSuccess border punch. I'm not sure the corners worked out quite right but being as it is a dark grey you can't really tell....!!! The reason I named this card 'Not quite Mojo Monday' is due to the fact that I could not seem to include the 3 strips behind the main image without making it look too busy.

Here is the sketch :

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Stamps : gStudios, SU! (Sentiment)
Paper : PTI Smokey Shadow and White, Basic Grey Urban Prairie DP
Ink : Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories : Copic Markers, EKSuccess Border punch, Basic Grey Brads, My Little Yellow Bicycle Rub ons (top white corners)

Easter Place Cards

These are place cards that I made for our family Easter Dinner this weekend. Last night, for some reason, I was having such a hard time finding papers that matched... but I think they are good Easter colors in the end. I printed out the names using my computer and then cut them out using a small Spellbinder label die. They are half of a standard quarter size card and that made them difficult to photo in detail! The photo above is a shot of the group of them and below is the design for all the boys in the family :

Now here is the 'girly' design. I just love the purple and pearls!

Stamps : g studios (Easter joy)
Paper : The Paper Company (Crystal white), Bo Bunny and DCWV
Ink : Staz-On Black
Accessories : KaiserKraft Pearls, Scallop punch, Spellbinders Label Die, Medium Circle Punch
