Bo Bunny Love Bug

I have had this Stampin'Up Love Bug set for quite some time but was nervous about coloring such a small image. In the end I went with lighter colors and used a few darker colors very sparingly. My Prismacolor pencils were my coloring method of choice (because I only have 9 Copics at the moment...... : ( !!!) and I blended them with baby oil because I still have yet to figure out how to open the Gamsol container!!!

The patterned paper I used is from the Bo Bunny set 'Sugared' (not quite sure if that is the right name, but it was the collection that came out near Valentine's Day) and this inspired the cardstock colors.

Hope you're having a great Tuesday!

Paper : Bo Bunny Sugared DP, SU! (Garden Green, Pink Pirouette), PTI White

  1. Hi Sarah. I'm STILL laughing about the Gamsol container! LOL! I use my Prismapencils all the time - with Baby Oil. Wish I could help you get that container open, but I don't have any so I wouldn't know how! Love your card though. The coloring is perfect. Just so very cute. I also don't have many Copics so I hear you on that one too.
Oh, you asked about that wheel I used on my "Season Greetings" card...I don't think they have it anymore (and I can not remember the name of it). I checked in the last catalog and didn't see it. I think I got it last year sometime - maybe at the beginning of the year.

  2. Hi Sarah~

I love this absolutely precious card! I think the coloring you've done is fantastic! I'll have to pick your brain about Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol, I don't know about either one. It sounds to me like you know how to improvise...what a great trait!
I'm still working on the Cappella card, I'll let you know when it's ready for an unveiling ;)
