Floral Lemonade

Good Morning everyone!

I had so much fun making this card last night. Of course, I was up late - my mojo seems to hit at 10pm and then I don't go to bed until my card is finished..... :)

This stamp is from an old Stampin'Up! set (can't quite remember the name at the moment) but it is perfect for practicing my coloring skills. I used both Copic Markers and PrismaColors on this image and I love the way it turned out. The patterned paper is from one of my favorite Basic Grey collections - 'Lemonade'. My design is based on the MFT Wednesday Stamp Club June sketch :

Here is a close up of my coloring :

Thanks for stopping by and have a great Wednesday!

Stamps : Stampin'Up!
Paper : SU! Basic Black, PTI White, Basic Grey Lemonade
Ink : Memento Tuxedo Black, SU! Craft White
Accessories : Medium Circle Punch, Cricut Machine (sentiment tag), KaiserKraft bling, Copic Markers and PrismaColor pencils

  1. Sarah it looks amazing! {that image isn't to shabby either...LOL} Here is my tip I share with all my students and i have written it on my blog too. French Grey 90% is THE BEST color to add that shading in your darkest areas. You see on your pitcher, you have it very red in the shadows..I add French Grey 90% to everything. It dulls that brightness and makes everything pop!! You will try it and love it! Let me know, ok. Keep up the fabulous coloring. Love from MI...

  2. What a great layout. Your coloring is so superb. Love the colors you used too.

  3. WOW! I think it's super! LOVE that coloring. So pretty.

  4. Your coloring is fabulous! Wow- very very pretty and love the DSP you used.

  5. Beautiful card! Your coloring is superb!

  6. Ah Ha! And you talk about me lovin' Basic Grey...I think you have the same affliction! This is an absolutely gorgeous card, your coloring is a picture of perfection!
